These slingbacks are the perfect shoe for going either dressy or dressy/casual. I love the turquoise color -- and also ordered them in the mango color. Well-built, not too high, and a good value.
Paris Fashions, 1912 1925 This review is based on a comparison of this shoe with other DANSKO shoes. I have been a devoted wearer of Dansko for several years and this product is simply not up to the company's standards.1. The arch support is nowhere near as firm as with regular Dansko products. The arch does not seem any better than your standard sneaker. This is the primary reason for so few stars. They would probably be fine for the average person who does not work on her feet for 8 - 10 hours a day, but for folks who really need the support they have come to count on from Dansko, this shoe does not make the cut.2. The toe box is much tighter than with regular Danskos. Makes them less comfortable.3. It runs about a size smaller than regular Danskos. I normally wear a 38 in regular Dansko's but had to return the first pair of these and get a 39. Not a huge deal, with free shipping both ways on and Zappos, but I do believe a company should test their own products and there should be standards across styles.I was really hoping to like this shoe, since it comes in so many cute colors and patterns. I will keep the purchase, since it will work fine for a quick run to the store or coffee shop. I won't buy any more of them, and the fact they don't measure up to Dansko standards makes me question the other new styles from this company. DANSKO: if you are listening, please make all your shoes with the same support. You have a devoted base of customers out here and most of us do not want to go looking for another brand.
